Ecumenical?

ECUMENICAL

Locking Castle Church is a united church of four Christian traditions in one congregation. From the earliest days of Locking Castle, four Christian traditions – Anglican, Methodist, United Reformed and Baptist - agreed that church provision on the estate should be ecumenical in all things. Today the word Ecumenical has come to mean a church or group of churches formed from different Christian traditions. Locking Castle Church is part of Churches Together in Weston, and our sponsoring body is Somerset Churches Together.

In 2016 the church adopted a revised constitution which allowed us to become a registered Charity (No. 1170425)
