Weddings

Locking Castle Church is licensed to conduct Anglican (Church of England) weddings and also Non-Conformist Weddings (Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed Church). We also have a modern hall in which to hold your reception. If you would like to discuss the possibility of your wedding being at Locking Castle Church, or for holding your reception in the church hall, please contact the church office (01934 519888).

Marriage is a gift from God and we love to celebrate with those beginning life together. We also like to do what we can to prepare you for the adventure.

Getting married in church is about putting God at the centre of your promises. If you are thinking about marriage, please feel free to contact us. If you just want to know the costs involved, please call the office for details of the current fees.

As part of our commitment to you we ask all couples to participate in a marriage preparation course that covers the practicalities of married life such as: getting on together; languages of love; children; finances; conflict; as well as the ceremony itself.

Publication of Banns

If you live in Weston Village, Locking Castle or West Wick but are getting married else where you may need us to publish your Banns. The person conducting your wedding will be able to advise, or please call the church office if you have any queries.

There is a fee for the publication of Banns certificate and you will need to complete the following simple Banns of Marriage Application Form.
